Healthy Lifestyles for Bipolar Disorder
We’re running the largest-ever study on how different ways of eating (Mediterranean and Eating by the Clock) might help mood, sleep, and energy in people with bipolar disorder. We’re looking for adults ages 18-65 who are currently receiving care for bipolar disorder.
Neither food plan is meant to be a diet or a treatment. We’ll ask you to consume the same amount of food that you normally would and to continue your regular care for bipolar disorder.
Our goal is to understand a very broad range of the ways in which these food plans may and may not help. This study will involve many different questions because we sincerely want to understand each person’s experience during this study.
Participants are paid $25/hour for their time completing assessments.
Rhythms and Rewards for Bipolar Disorder
The purpose of this study is to better understand how daily rhythms in responses to reward may differ between individuals with and without bipolar disorder. The study is seeking people who do, as well as those who do not, have bipolar disorder. The study involves completing questionnaires online, two online interviews, an MRI scan for those who are local, and then completing logs and games by phone 5 times per day for two weeks.
